Dr. Tilman Fischer, Chairman
Following a successful career as an executive in the mechanical engineering and automation industry, Dr. Fischer joined at an early stage. He not only devoted venture capital to u²t , but also advises the managers on many strategic decisions. His long-term experience as a top-class industrial manager as well as his calm, yet determined, personality are important assets to the company.
Elisabeth Hanspach-Bieber
Running her own office as a chartered accountant with 16 employees and 25 years` experience as a tax consultant and auditor, Mrs Hanspach-Bieber is the perfect match to support the supervisory board of u²t on matters in tax and finance. In addition to her own business, Mrs Hanspach-Bieber has served as a lay judge for more than five years and since 1994 she has been a member of the audit committee for tax consultants at the Ministry of Finance in North Rhine-Westphalia. She advises the supervisory boards of two media companies.
Professor Klaus Petermann
Professor Petermann is the Executive Director of the Institute for High Frequency and Semiconductor System Technologies at the Technical University of Berlin. He is an internationally renowned leader in the field of optical communications and serves the scientific community in numerous functions. In 1993, he was awarded the most prestigious German science award, the Leibniz-Preis. His widespread expertise is a continuing source of support to the future-oriented approach of u²t.
